Grant earned his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Georgia, Athens, in 1984. He currently is a Professor at the University of RI, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology. He has authored and co-authored a number of scholarly journal articles, chapters, and textbooks, and has presented his research at local, national, and international meetings.
Grant’s research interests are in the areas of developmental cognitive neuropsychology, psychoeducational decision making, and school psychology. He has a passion for understanding human behavior and cognition at all levels. More

Brian Nosek received a Ph.D. in psychology from Yale University in 2002 and is an associate professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Virginia. In 2007, he received early career awards from the International Social Cognition Network (ISCON) and the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues (SPSSI). He directs Project Implicit (http://projectimplicit.net/) an Internet-based multi-university collaboration of research and education about implicit cognition – thoughts and feelings that exist outside of awareness or control.
Brian's research interests include implicit cognition, automaticity, social judgment and decision-making, attitudes and beliefs, stereotyping and prejudice, ideology, morality, identity, memory, and the interface between theory, methods, and innovation. More

Rick Varieur received a Ph.D. in psychology from Pacific University; MA in Counseling Psychology from the University of Indiana and a MS in Greek Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame. He spent the last 30 years in private practice assisting individuals in understanding the development of human character and happiness.
Rick has led several expeditions; to name a few: Hicked Mt. Kilimanjaro, trek motorcycles across Iceland, Gobi desert in Mongolia and Newfoundland Canada. He enjoys pushing the mind and body beyond their self imposed limitations.
Rick is currently assisting organizations in the development of proficient future leaders. He has drawn on his 30 years of clinical experience, his many expeditions, and the wisdom of ancient philosophy and modern psychology to develop a leadership series that is innovated and sustainable.More
